Ensure optimal performance of your high-speed Ratchet Knob™ with our O-ring Service Kit! Our high-speed model is designed with O-rings. Over time the O-rings may break, or you may experience an increase in oscillation. When that happens, it’s time to replace the O-rings
The service kit includes a silicone-based grease/oil and 10 O-rings which will allow you to service your high-speed Ratchet Knob™ up to 5 times
To change O-rings:
Use a pick to remove old o-rings
Pre-lubricate new o-rings with silicone grease provided prior to installation
Starting at the corner, hold the o-ring in the groove and slide over the face of the lug until it fully seats into position
Repeat for the second side
If you feel it necessary at this stage, another application of grease to the outside of the o-ring is acceptable
